Development of the UB Campuses:
See detailed developments of the campuses of the University at Buffalo.

  • The First UB Medical Buildings
    The first course of medical lectures opened on February 24, 1847, with an attendance of sixty-six registered students.

  • South Campus
    The State University of New York at Buffalo's South Campus is located at Bailey Avenue and Main Street.

  • North Campus
    The University at Buffalo's North Campus is located almost exactly in the center of the town of Amherst, NY approximatly 3.5 miles from South Campus on the northeast edge of Buffalo, NY.
