Arts & Sciences Libraries

The Arts & Sciences Libraries (ASL) encompass the Architecture/Planning, Capen (Undergraduate and Science/Engineering), and Lockwood Memorial Libraries.  ASL staff, services, and collections support the research and teaching needs of UB's faculty, undergraduates, and graduate students in a range of programs, with primary services to:

  • School of Architecture & Planning
  • College of Arts & Scieces
  • Graduate School of Education
  • School of Engineering & Applied Sciences
  • School of Management
  • School of Social Work

ASL also serves the general research needs of UB undergraduates in all areas, including students associated with the Undergraduate Academies, Honors College, Undergraduate College, CADS/EOP, International Education, and other academic and student services areas.  ASL locations are also open to the general public, with a variety of in-person and online services and collections available.
