During the Spring Semester 2007, the University at Buffalo Libraries participated in LibQUAL, a major survey to assess the quality of our services as perceived by library users. LibQUAL+ is a nationwide research and development project undertaken to define and measure library service quality across institutions and to create useful quality-assessment tools to aid each participating library in planning for the future.

The University Libraries will be incorporating the results of the 2007 survey into our ongoing planning and prioritizing process, just as the 2002 and 2004 results were incorporated. A number of actions that specifically address areas of concern and/or importance to our users are described at Actions - UB Libraries Listening to You. The results of the Libraries' 2002 and 2004 LibQUAL surveys are available in PDF documents: one for the Health Sciences Library and one for SUNY Buffalo in general. The results of the Libraries' 2007 LibQUAL survey is also available in PDF document. There is only one 2007 report for the core UB Libraries (Arts & Sciences Libraries, Health Sciences Library, Law Library & Special Collections.)
