Welcome to the UB Map Collection
The Map Collection at the University at Buffalo is the largest in Western New York and among the largest in the U.S. It contains over 320,000 maps, 4,000 aerial photos, and more than 500 atlases covering all regions of the world, with emphasis on Buffalo and Erie County, New York State, the United States, and Canada. Use BISON to locate maps by title or subject. Additional cartographic resources are available using the University at Buffalo Libraries Map Collection website links (begining at the left).
The Map Collection is located in Room 316 on the third floor of Capen Hall in the Silverman Library. It is open from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and is closed Saturday, Sunday, and holidays (see hours).
