Uncataloged Maps

The UB Libraries Map Collection has newly acquired collections of maps that are not yet in BISON, but may be located using the guides listed below. To view these maps, please contact the UGL/SEL Reference Desk, by calling 645-2945 or via e-mail askASL@buffalo.edu.

Topographic Country Maps. These 250,000-scale maps will be described once the list has been compiled. Search BISON by country to see if the maps you need have already been cataloged.

German City Maps: World War II Era. These maps have been cataloged. Search BISON by city name (or variants). Description: Maps of various cities in Germany and in some occupied countries. Maps show streets, major structures, and other features. These maps are now cataloged and can be located in the Libraries catalog. The link to German City Maps above lists what cities are available.
