Open Access Chemical Carcinogenesis Research Information System

Description

The Chemical Carcinogenesis Research Information System (CCRIS) provides carcinogenicity, mutagenicity, tumor promotion, and tumor inhibition data for over 8,000 chemicals. It is a scientifically evaluated and fully referenced data bank, developed and maintained by the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Leads to carcinogencity data derived from studies cited in primary journals, current awareness tools, NCI reports, and other special sources. Test results have been reviewed by experts in carcinogenesis and mutagenesis.

Searching Tips: Database can be searched by chemical names, Chemical Abstracts Service Registry Number, and subject terms. All data for a given compound is placed in a single record. Search results are displayed in relevancy ranked order.
