Health Sciences Library journal resources for both printed and electronic materials.
The Robert L. Brown History of Medicine Collection at the Health Sciences Library was established as a separate entity in 1972. It includes more than 12,000 monographs from the nineteenth century with particular strengths in surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, dentistry, pharmacology, and oncology, as well as historical journal volumes.
The Health Sciences Library's Multimedia Center house over 2,500 health sciences audiovisual titles, 10 computer workstations, 8 group viewing rooms, a Multimedia Development Lab and a 10 workstation classroom.

Current University at Buffalo students, faculty and staff may recommend materials for purchase, or may request an Interlibrary Loan for books (including conference proceedings, theses, and audiovisual materials), or journal articles.
