Historical Note: In 2000 the Niagara County Environmental Fund awarded a grant to the Niagara Falls Public Library to collect information on area institutions' historic document collections pertaining to the Love Canal area disaster. The project archivist hired to do this was Kathleen DeLaney, project archivist at the University at Buffalo University Archives.
