QUAKER MEETING HOUSES IN WESTERN NEW YORK: SELECTED IMAGES


Elba Friends Meeting House, Genesee County, New York. Built ca. 1836, one of four meeting houses in Western New York built of cobblestone. Photograph taken August 1911.

DeRuyter Friends Meeting House, Madison County, New York. Built in 1816, no longer standing. Photographs taken 1913 or before. 

Farmington Friends Meeting House, Ontario County, New York. Built about 1876 by Orthodox Friends and still in use. 

North Collins Friends Meeting House, Erie County, New York. Built in the 1830s by Hicksite Friends. Photograph taken in 1909.
