East Side

Location:
This Buffalo neighborhood lies east of Downtown Buffalo. This huge area extends five miles eastward to the city line. The main streets are Genesee, Sycamore, Broadway, William, and Clinton.

High Schools:

  • Emerson Vocational High School, 1405 Sycamore Street
  • Buffalo Academy for the Visual & Performing Arts, 333 Clinton Street
  • Buffalo Traditional School, 450 Masten Avenue

Neighborhood Association:
East Buffalo Community Ownership, 1981 Broadway.

The East Side is comprised of twelve smaller neighborhoods:

Bailey-Lovejoy Hamlin Park Kensington
Cold Springs Hospital Hill Masten Park
Fillmore-Leroy Humboldt Park Polonia
Fruit Belt Kaisertown Schiller Park
