North Park

Home on Nottingham Terrace

Location:
This Buffalo neighborhood centers on Nottingham Terrace from Colvin Avenue to Elmwood Avenue.

High School:

Nichols School, 1250 Amherst Street

This area was the site of the Pan-American Exposition of 1901. The Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society building (25 Nottingham Court) is the only remaining building from the famous fair and exposition.

This neighborhood is adjacent to Frederick Law Olmsted's Delaware Park. Tree-lined streets carry the parklike setting throughout this neighborhood of substantial residential properties. The entire park system, designed by Olmsted is described here.

George Orthodox Catholic Church
2 Nottingham Terrace
