BORROWING multimedia items from the UB Libraries
All multimedia items from Health Sciences and Silverman collections circulate for 10 days. Items may be requested via UB Document Express for delivery between North and South campuses.
A valid UB Card is required to borrow library materials. Local non-UB borrowers who meet eligibility requirements must obtain a University Libraries Special Borrowers Card and are under special restrictions.
Items may not be renewed without first consulting with the staff at the Silverman Multimedia Center at (716) 645-1328 or email@example.com.
Fines for overdue materials accrue at a higher rate than books: one dollar per day, per item, for 10 day loan items, maximum fine of $10. Reserve items accrue at a rate of .05 cents per minute, per item, $3 per hour, maximum fine of $20.
Programs needed for classroom presentations or other special events, may be reserved. Faculty and staff may reserve items through our online booking service. Please contact Multimedia Collections and Services staff for details.
Other educational institutions wishing to borrow media materials should contact their local library's interlibrary loan department. There is a charge for loan of multimedia materials.
The Libraries have a variety of equipment available to use our multimedia resources. Check our Audio-visual Equipment page for locations.
