The Music Library offers reference service to the UB community and public during all hours of operation. Patrons in the Music Library may request reference assistance at any time by asking for a reference librarian at the Circulation Desk. Reference queries can also be submitted by telephone (716 645 2924) or by e-mail (musique@acsu.buffalo.edu).
The reference librarians are also available to assist faculty as they prepare students for assignments by providing:

| • | instruction in the use of the UB Libraries Catalog for music materials (see the guide: Search Tips) |
| • | specialized bibliographic instruction classes |
| • | assistance in selecting and evaluating print and electronic resources |
