Draft of a Letter by Joyce in Danish (1936):
Material Description and Collation: The manuscript is a loose sheet of unruled grey paper, in Joyce's hand in lead pencil on both sides of the sheet.
Measurements: The manuscript measures 28.0 x 18.0 cm.
Contents: The manuscript is a draft of a letter in Danish by Joyce, with no salutation or signature. According to Spielberg, it is about Joyce's "recent visit to Denmark, the possibility of a future visit, the question of a Danish translation of Ulysses, and the unwelcome and unauthorized interview of Joyce by a reporter from the Berlingske Tidende (see MS IX.A.7)" (177).
Dating: Joyce presumably prepared this draft in September 1936.
Other Markings: There are markings in orange crayon on the recto.

Notes: The sheet was folded once horizontally and there is a small perforation in the upper right corner.
