*V.B.13.a: Negative Photostats in Duplicate of a Section of the Rosenbach (Faircopy) Manuscript of the "Circe" (15) Episode (1920) :
Material Description and Collation : The manuscript consists of 10 pages of photostats in duplicate (20 pages in total).
Measurements : The sheets of the Rosenbach manuscript measure approximately 20.3 x 16.5 cm., the text on the photostat is enlarged and measures 23.0 x 17.7 cm. and the photostat sheets themselves measure 30.7 x 20 cm.
Pagination : These copies of the Rosenbach manuscript are paginated "73"–"78", "78a", "79", "79a" and "80" in the lower left margin in pencil.
Contents : The manuscript is a negative photostat of a section of the Rosenbach (faircopy) Manuscript of "Circe," from which a holograph transcription was made (Buffalo MS V.B.13.b). The text on the pages is as follows:

Dating : The photostats were prepared in late April 1921 in New York by John Quinn at Joyce's request (see The Man from New York: John Quinn and His Friends , pp. 486–488).
Other Markings : There are rust stains from a paperclip on p. [1] on only one of the copies.
