*VI.I.11 [Also X.C.77 (X.C.74)]: "Work in Progress"/Finnegans Wake Emendations and Errata: Emendations for the Duplicate (Missing) Copy of the Typescript for This Quarter I.1/Finnegans Wake I.7 (1925):

Material Description and Collation: The manuscript is a loose sheet of white laid paper. It is a single-spaced typewritten top (original) black ink copy, with a postscript in Joyce's hand in black ink.

Measurements: The manuscript measures 21.1 x 18.4 cm.

Contents: The manuscript is a letter to Beach in which he instructs her to make two corresponding emendations on her copy of the typescript for the printer of This Quarter. See This Quarter 113.04, 113.04 and 121.27 as well as FW 177.10, 177.10, and 191.22.

Dating: Joyce probably made this emendation on 11 July 1925.
 
Publication: The correspondence was published on JJSB55 (#61).

Notes: The three emendations were also made on the extant typescript (BL 47474, fs. 44 and 56; JJA 47: 456 and 467) in Joyce's hand and were incorporated as directed by Joyce on this manuscript in the published text of This Quarter (the proofs of which are missing).
