*VI.I.37: "Work in Progress"/Finnegans Wake Emendations and Errata: Scribal Copy of an Emendation for a (Missing) Duplicate Copy of the Second Typescript of Book III/Finnegans Wake III.2 (1926):
Material Description and Collation: The manuscript is a loose sheet of Commerce stationery headed: "Commerce | 7, rue de l'odeon – paris-vie – tél. : fleurus 25-05". The emendations are on the recto and verso in Beach's hand in lead pencil and black ink. This manuscript is on the same kind of paper as MSS VI.I.33 and I.35.
Measurements: The manuscript measures 12.6 x 8.0 cm.
Contents: The manuscript is an extradraft sheet that contains Beach's notes (based on Joyce's instructions) to emend a missing copy of the second typescript of Book III. See FW 452.04, 453.22, 454.08, and 457.19.

Dating: The manuscript was written in late June 1926.
Notes: Joyce had noted three of the emendations on MS VI.B.12.072 before he instructed Beach to copy them here. Joyce also made these emendations on the extant pages of a copy of the typescript in hand (see BL MS 47483, fs. 169, 174, 175, and 177; JJA 57.269, 274, 275, and 277).
