*VI.I.39: "Work in Progress"/Finnegans Wake Emendations and Errata: Emendations for a (Missing) Duplicate Copy of the Second Typescript/Finnegans Wake III.2–3 (1926):
Material Description and Collation: The manuscript is a loose sheet of blue stationery with Joyce's address printed in the top right margin of the recto in blue ink: "2, Square Robiac | 192, rue de Grenelle". Joyce used the sheet horizontally; the emendations are in Joyce's hand in lead pencil only on the recto; the verso is blank. This is the same kind of paper as MSS VI.E.6.a, E.6.b, and VI.I.36.
Measurements: The sheet measures 26.9 x 21.0 cm.
Contents: The manuscript is an extradraft sheet that instructs Beach to emend a (missing) copy of the second typescript. See FW 447.04–05, 450.14, 455.11–12, and 526.33.

Dating: Joyce probably wrote this manuscript in June–early August 1926.
