*VI.H.4: "Work in Progress"/Finnegans Wake Page Proofs: Specimen Page Proof of Tales Told of Shem and Shaun/Finnegans Wake I.6 (1929):
Material Description and Collation: The manuscript consists of 1 sheet (2 conjugate leaves) of white laid Arches paper, with only 3 pages of printed text (p. [4] is blank) in black ink and folded vertically in half, with no corrections or emendations.
Measurements: The sheet measures 21.0 x 33.0 cm. and the text block measures 10.7 x 8.1 cm. as in the published work.
Pagination: The pages are not numbered.
Contents: The manuscript is a printers' page proof specimen for Tales Told of Shem and Shaun (Paris: Black Sun Press, June 1929; Slocum and Cahoon A36) with text from the "The Mookse and Gripes". See transition 6, 101.06–102.23, Tales Told of Shem and Shaun, pp. 1.04–5.11 as well as FW 152.20–154.14.
