VIII.A.6.f: Other Notebooks: Miscellaneous Zurich Notes: News Article in Greek Probably Entitled "The Flag of Warships" (1916):
Material Description and Collation: The manuscript is a sheet of blue-lined graph paper, torn from a notebook, the top edge of which is ragged, which is identical to MSS VIII.A.6.g, 6.h and 6.i, with writing in black ink on the recto only, not in Joyce's hand.
Measurements: The sheet measures 16.3 x 10.4 cm.
Contents: The manuscript consists of a copy of an as yet unidentified Greek news article, presumably entitled "The Flag of Warships," translated below into English, presumably not by Joyce.
Dating: The article was probably published on 12 October 1916.
Publication: This manuscript has been reproduced in black and white photo-facsimile on JJA 3.295.
Notes: There is a black ink stain on the verso.
