VIII.A.6.i: Other Notebooks: Miscellaneous Zurich Notes: Further Business Correspondence (1916):
Material Description and Collation: The manuscript is the top half of a sheet of blue lined graph paper, torn from a notebook, the horizontal edges of which are ragged, which is identical to MSS VIII.A.6.f, 6.g and 6.h, with writing in Joyce's and an unidentified hand.
Measurements: The sheet measures 7.7 x 10.4 cm.
Contents: The manuscript consists of a copy of a short unsigned business letter to an unidentified recipient on one side and a copy of another unsigned short business letter to friend, jokingly titled "Ultimatum".
Dating: Joyce probably wrote out this correspondence in 1916 as part of his exercises in Greek.
Publication: This manuscript has been reproduced in black and white photo-facsimile on JJA 3.299–300.
