Material Description and Collation: The manuscript is a sheet of Shakespeare and Company stationary with a set of drawings in Joyce's hand in lead pencil.
Contents: Joyce's drawings consists of various sigla presumably arranged to explain the narrative of "Anna Livia Plurabelle" to Beach.
Measurements: The manuscript measures 21.0 x 27.0 cm.
Dating: It is not possible to determine when Joyce wrote this manuscript but it may have been in 1928.
Other Markings: Beach wrote "drawing by JJ | to explain to SB | ALP" below Joyce's note in lead pencil.
