University Archives Fund
The University Archives houses the historically valuable records of UB’s academic departments, along with distinguished collections of faculty papers and archival manuscripts.
You, our supporters, are as special and unique as the history we preserve and celebrate in University Archives. Your passion for preserving the history of the University is directly related to all that we have been able to accomplish in the last year, from the digitization of 150 films documenting UB and regional architecture—footage which hasn’t been accessible in over 2 decades—to the completion of the Jewish Buffalo Archives Project, consisting of over 70 collections documenting the impact, contributions, and history of Jews in Buffalo.
Our mission is to provide an enriching and unique learning environment for our students, faculty, community members, scholars, and historians. But we cannot do this alone. We hope you will partner in this effort to maintain, celebrate, and expand the University Archives as an asset to University life, learning, culture, and history.
With your support, we can continue to preserve, promote, and make accessible our University’s rich history, particularly in the digital landscape.
