marching bandIn 1922, the University, for the first time in its history, adjourned all classes for the sake of the student body. As quoted in student publication, The Bee: "The students feel that with a monster parade, big mass meeting and a lively football contest Saturday they will arouse the general public to the fact that Buffalo has a first-class college." That year, the year Chancellor Samuel P. Capen took office, began an new era for the Univeristy of Buffalo.
