Stephen M. Roberts

Stephen M. Roberts began his more than three decade-long career in the University Libraries in 1977.  Upon his retirement in 2010, then Provost Satish Tripathi said: "Steve brought the University Libraries into the digital age, literally moved the Lockwood Library from the South Campus to the North Campus and, more recently, was instrumental in reimagining the libraries to meet the needs of a 21st century research university."  During his tenure, Roberts was Assistant to the Director for University Libraries, Assistant Director for Systems, Associate Director of University Libraries and Associate Vice President for University Libraries.
