Please join the University at Buffalo School of Law in welcoming Aviva Abramovsky as the new Dean of the School of Law. Dean Abramovsky joins us from Syracuse University, where she was the Kaufman Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Associate Dean for International Initiatives. In addition to teaching courses in Commercial Transactions, Contracts, and Insurance Law, she led efforts to create new LLM and JD programs for foreign lawyers and develop new international programs.
Dean Abramovsky is an accomplished scholar, publishing in the areas of commercial law, insurance law, regulation of financial entities, and legal ethics. A sampling of her works can be found at the links below.
