UB Libraries to waive fines on overdue books returned by December 18, 2017

Thursday, November 16th, 2017

Do you owe money because you forgot to return your library material? Don’t worry, it happens to all of us (even George Washington).

Here’s your chance at forgiveness! Simply drop off your overdue books and any other library materials to the UB Libraries between November 17, 2017 and December 18, 2017 and, in most cases, the libraries will be able to forgive all overdue fines or fees.

We encourage everyone – students, faculty, staff, community members – to take advantage of this opportunity to get those overdue fees waived, no questions asked. We just want the books back so that others can use them!

The books can be returned to any circulation desk in any of the six UB Libraries. For a list of locations, visit library.buffalo.edu/libraries-collections/.

There may be certain rare circumstance in which library-related fines and fees are not forgivable, but, hey, it’s worth trying! To view your checked-out items and any fines or fees, visit library.buffalo.edu/myaccount/.
