Where do you go to get good information about your health and medical care? Whenever you or your loved ones are diagnosed with a disease or chronic condition, you want to know all you can to make the best possible treatment choices in partnership with your doctor.
Our first workshop, Consumer Health: Finding Health Information for You and Your Family, filled up quickly and the second was well received, so we’ve added May 24.
Feedback from the first two sessions requested a more advanced and in-depth demonstration of resources – we’ll walk you through several UB only, as well as some public, databases that offer more advanced medical diagnoses and treatments . Between knowing where to find information and using your own common sense and experience, we’ll help you build a toolbox that you can use throughout your life.
Pamela Rose , 829-5722, is also available for individual consumer health consultations.
