In response to a request for increased access to study spaces from the UB Student Association, the University Libraries have extended the opening hours in the Oscar A. Silverman Library.
Beginning Monday, March 1, 2021, and continuing throughout the Spring semester, Silverman Library will now be open until midnight on weekdays and until 8pm on Saturdays.
The complete schedule of hours for Silverman Library is listed below:
March 1 – May 15, 2021
Monday – Friday: 8am – 12am
Saturday – Sunday: 12pm – 8pm
Please note: Silverman, Lockwood and Abbott Libraries are open to current UB students, faculty and staff only. When visiting Silverman Library, everyone must check in at the 3rd floor Library Service Desk. This is part of a pilot project designed to ensure that COVID-19 mask compliance and social distancing guidelines are followed by all individuals using the library.
