The University Libraries invite all UB students to celebrate Earth Day at Check Out a Plant!

2nd Floor, Silverman Library, North Campus
At this event, sponsored by the Libraries’ Student Engagement Workgroup (SLEW), students can plant seeds (we’ll supply the soil and the seeds); discover local and native plants, browse books from our “Go Green” book display collection; and learn about environmentally friendly planting practices and campus sustainability initiatives.
Originally celebrated in 1970, Earth Day focuses on protecting the environment, promoting clean air and clean water, and raising awareness about global warming and climate change.
