Request Alternate Format

The Libraries will provide alternate formats to qualifying individuals of library owned or licensed materials or electronic Delivery+ requests. Please contact Kristopher Miller with your request.

Examples include:

• Accessible PDFs, Word files, etc
• Transcripts of audio files
• Captioned Videos

Retrieving Items from Book Stacks

UB Students, faculty and staff can request library materials via Delivery+ for when the materials are not physically accessible for any reason, e.g. aisle is not wide enough, material is too high on shelf, or call numbers are difficult to read or see.

Scanning and Printing

Staff at library service desks will assist library users with disabilities making scans of documents on public scanners in their area.
