UB Laptop Loan Program
The UB Libraries and UBIT Services have a limited number of laptops for loan to students each semester. All questions about the program can be directed to media-services@buffalo.edu.
UB Laptop Loan Program Retires December 2025
As we phase out the laptop loan program, fewer laptops will be available for semester loan. Please be prepared with a backup option in case you are not selected for the program in the coming semesters.
The lottery sign-up form will be available in mid-August on this page, please check back here later in the summer.
Borrowing Instructions
- Your library account must be in good standing to borrow a semester loan laptop.
- As quantities are limited, laptop availability is not guaranteed.
- Only one laptop may be borrowed per person.
- Those eligible to borrow a laptop are not permitted to borrow a laptop for another individual.
- All laptops meet UBIT hardware standards.
