  • Library Hours

    Hours of operation vary depending on location, holidays, and exam periods. Silverman Library is open 24/7, except for intersessions and university holidays.
  • Reserve a Room

    Group Study Rooms are located in UB’s North & South Campus libraries and can be reserved for 2 hours.
  • Study Spaces

    There are plenty of comfortable, safe places to study in the Libraries. You’ll find silent, individual study spaces that are perfect for working alone, and collaborative study areas where you can work with a group on class projects and assignments.
  • Printing in the Library

    Printing in the University Libraries is limited to active faculty, staff and students.
  • Computers & Scanners

    More than 400 computer workstations are located throughout the UB Libraries and our easy-to-use, touch screen scanners are free in every library.
  • Equipment Loans

    A wide variety of media and technology equipment is available for loan to current UB students, faculty and staff.
  • Recording Studios

    Whether you’re creating full-length video presentations or short class projects, our Video Recording Studios in Silverman Library make the process fast and easy.
  • Food & Beverages

    Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a snack in the pleasant surroundings of Whispers Café. Located in Silverman Library and Abbott Library, both cafés feature Starbucks beverages, along with a variety of sandwiches, salads and fresh baked goods.
