Seventh Part of the Holograph Scribal Transcription of the "Circe" episode
Material Description and Collation
The manuscript consists of 5 sheets of unruled paper, with ragged edges that suggest they were cut from larger sheets, writing appears on the rectos only and the versos are blank, in the hand of Cyprian Beach in black ink, with corrections and additions in Joyce’s hand in black ink on all of the pages.
Measurements
The sheets measure approximately 20.0 x 15.5 cm.
Pagination
The sheets were paginated "1"–"5" in the lower left margin in lead pencil.
Contents
The manuscript is a partial holograph transcription of the Rosenbach (faircopy) manuscript that is continued from MS V.B.13.d.6 and is continued on MS V.B.13.d.8. This transcription was used as the copy text for the typescripts of this section of the "Circe" episode (Buffalo MSS V.B.13.e–h). The text on the pages is as follows:

This manuscript has been reproduced in black and white photo-facsimile on JJA 14.348–352.
Notes
There are 3 small perforations in the left margin of each sheet, where the sheets were once fastened together, and there are traces of a metal paper clip on pp. [3v] and [5v]. The sheets were folded horizontally in the center, probably together with MSS V.B.13.d.5 and 13.d.6.
