The American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) has named Rebecca Chapman, University at Buffalo Undergraduate Law and Indigenous Outreach Librarian, as the recipient of the organization’s 2023 Minority Leadership Development Award.
Created in 2001, this award nurtures future leaders by introducing minority law librarians to leadership opportunities within AALL, a national association dedicated to the legal information profession and its professionals.
The Minority Leadership Development Award provides Chapman with an experienced AALL leader serving as their mentor for at least one year and the opportunity to serve on an AALL committee.
