This Earth Day, Check Out a Plant with UB Libraries!

Monday, April 1st, 2024

The University Libraries invite all UB students to celebrate Earth Day and Check Out a Plant!

Monday, April 22, 2024

12pm – 2pm

3rd Floor, Silverman Library, North Campus

To celebrate Earth Day, join UB Libraries to plant seeds (we’ll supply the soil and the seeds) or grab a plant to go! You’ll discover local and native plants, browse books from our “Go Green” book display collection, and learn about environmentally-friendly planting practices and campus sustainability initiatives.

Originally celebrated in 1970, Earth Day focuses on protecting the environment, promoting clean air and clean water, and raising awareness about global warming and climate change.
