The latest issue of The Journal of Educational Supervision (JES) marks a milestone as the first issue to be published through UB ScholarWorks, the University at Buffalo’s open access publishing platform.
UB ScholarWorks promotes community-driven scholarship and challenges profit-driven academic publishing by providing free access to both authors and readers through its diamond open-access model. The move ensures that JES remains freely available to educators, researchers and the public. Previously, JES was hosted at the University of Maine.
Edited by Ian Mette, associate professor in UB’s Department of Educational Leadership and Policy, Graduate School of Education, JES features research focused on advancing the field of educational supervision.
The current issue includes:
- “Development and Validation of the Instructional Supervision Sense of Efficacy Scale” by Yanira Oliveras, Jennifer Lane, Christopher Thomas, Wes Hickey, Jeannine Garbutt-Franklin, Judy Diego, Mathias Vairez and Forrest Kaiser. DOI: 10.69772/jes.8.1.2
- “Triad Educational Supervision: What Happens During Post-lesson Conferences? A Multi-case Study” by Christophe Baco, Antoine Derobertmasure and Marie Bocquillon. DOI: 10.69772/jes.8.1.1
