On April 23, 2025, UB Libraries hosted an Earth Day event on the third floor of Silverman Library. Students planted vegetable seeds, picked up plant propagation cuttings and learned about sustainable gardening practices. The event also featured information on local and native plants and campus sustainability initiatives.
