Beth Adelman, director of the Charles B. Sears Law Library and vice dean for legal information services at the University at Buffalo School of Law, has received the Joseph L. Andrews Legal Literature Award from the American Association of Law Libraries.
She was recognized as co-editor of “Organizational Structures of Academic Law Libraries: Past, Present, and Future (Volume 3),” which she co-edited with Jessica de Perio Wittman, director of the law library and professor of law at the University of Connecticut.
The Andrews Award honors works of legal bibliography, legal research and law librarianship that demonstrate enduring research value, originality and depth of scholarship. The award will be presented at the AALL annual meeting.
