“When women and girls are empowered to participate fully in society, everyone benefits.”

—Melinda Gates

Since 1987, the United States has observed Women’s History Month during the month of March each year. In honor of Women’s History Month, the University Libraries present an assortment of fiction and non-fiction titles in the lobby of Lockwood Library to raise awareness of the achievements, contributions and significant impact women have had on American history.
