Join us for the Challenge Launch Party

11am and 12:30pm.

There will be giveaways and pizza (while supplies last) courtesy of the Challenge sponsor, Elsevier Academic Publishing.

The Annual Engineering Academic Challenge is a 5-week immersive problem-set based competition built around five trending themes for engineers, including Future of Energy, Future of Making, and Future of Medicine.

Through October 8, 2018, a new Challenge is posted each Monday, and students are asked to search for answers using UB’s engineering databases. The Challenge is to answer all of the questions correctly with the highest accuracy of that week’s participants. Play individually or create a team!

You must register to play and registration is free.

This year’s Engineering Academic Challenge prizes:

  • Grand Prize: $100 Amazon gift card
  • 2nd Place: $60 Amazon gift card
  • 3rd Place: $40 Amazon gift card
  • Design Challenge: $100 Amazon gift card
  • Weekly winner (The highest score for the week): $50 Amazon gift card
  • Weekly 2nd Place: $30 Amazon gift card
  • Weekly 3rd Place: $20 Amazon gift card
