Silverman Library’s New Welcome Desk

Need help finding your way around? The new Welcome Desk is located just inside the entrance to Silverman Library on the 2nd floor. It’s open Mon. – Fri., 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., during the fall and spring semesters. Our staff can help with:

• Directions and wayfinding
• General information about all UB Libraries
• Book returns
• Questions about patron accounts, including requests, loans, and returns
• Delivery+ support

For additional support and services, visit the main Library Service Desk on the 3rd floor, which is staffed from 8 a.m. – midnight during the fall and spring semesters and offers:

• Access to the Recording Studios
• 4-hour short-term equipment
• Help with issues related to library spaces or services
• Classroom access for 305 & 310 Capen
• Book returns
