UB to Host Annual Meeting of the New York State–Ontario Chapter of the Music Library Association

Deborah Chiarella, associate librarian and liaison to the Departments of Music and Theatre and Dance at the University at Buffalo, is serving as chair-elect of the New York State–Ontario Chapter of the Music Library Association (NYS/O-MLA) and is coordinating the chapter’s 2025 annual meeting.

The NYS/O-MLA Fall In-Person/Online Meeting will take place Friday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the University at Buffalo. Participants may attend either on campus or virtually.

The event will feature presentations by music librarians and scholars from across the region, including sessions on music librarianship, research creation in the arts, and collection management. The program also includes a live “Organ Talk with Performances,” a roundtable discussion, and the chapter’s annual business meeting.
