Election Day is Tuesday, November 4—are you ready? Getting registered and making a plan to vote are important first steps, but the process doesn’t end there! Whether you’re voting for the first time, need a refresher on the procedures, or have specific questions, the UB Libraries will be hosting a workshop to help you prepare.

Thurs. 10/16 from 1-2pm in 305 Silverman

Join us for snacks, games and helpful tips & tricks!

We’ll cover:

  • Previewing your ballot
  • Relevant terminology and vocabulary for voting
  • Researching issues and candidates
    • Avoiding mis- and disinformation about voting
  • Finding your polling place
  • What to expect on Election Day
  • Resources to understand your rights as a voter

This workshop is a non-partisan event that will discuss procedures and education related to the voting process. Discussion of political views and affiliations is prohibited.
