Archiving Your Scholarship

The UB Libraries can provide assistance with sharing your scholarly work online, whether in the UB Institutional Repository (UBIR) or in various subject repositories.

Archiving your scholarly output can increase the visibility and help assure the permanence of your work. The quickest and easiest way for UB scholars to archive their work is to deposit it in the UBIR:

UB Institutional Repository (UBIR)

Hosted by the UB Libraries, UBIR collects and distributes UB's research and scholarship. This institutional repository contains full-text articles, books, book chapters and reports; audio and video recordings; and presentations created by UB faculty, staff and students. UB faculty, staff and students may deposit their work for free here! (UBIR no longer accepts dataset submissions. Please contact dataservices@buffalo.edu for assistance with finding a data repository.)

  2. Accepted (postprint)
  3. Published (version of record found on publisher website and in UB Libraries’ subscription databases)
