Responsibilities

Roberta (Robin) Sullivan is an Emerging Technologies Librarian at LINKT(Libraries, INstruction, Knowledge, Technology). She helps the University at Buffalo community and others learn how to effectively use new technologies to improve teaching, learning, and research.

She also leads the SUNY Exploring Emerging Technologies for Lifelong Learning and Success (#EmTech) program. This free online resource is designed for students, faculty, staff, and anyone interested in staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and increasing their comfort level with technology.

Research

Her research includes innovative digital pedagogy and the examination of how and why people learn. 

Awards

As a recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Professional Service, she has been recognized through a SUNY Faculty Advisory Council on Teaching and Technology (FACT2) Excellence in Instructional Support Award for her work on the Tools of Engagement Project (TOEP) and she is a recipient of three SUNY Effective Practice Awards.
