Wayfinding
Wayfinding includes anything that helps guide people through the built environment, such as identity, directional signage and campus maps.
Library wayfinding signage is under the purview of the Libraries’ Facilities Planning and Management Officer and the Libraries’ Web Manager and Lead Designer.
Room ID's
Sign Type A1.1 (ASI)
All rooms in the University Libraries are required to have a room ID.
Room plates for faculty and staff should have Name and Title ONLY. Please contact the Libraries’ Communications Manager and Lead Designer for your name plate.
Building/Elevator Directories
Sign Type F2 / Sign Type F3 (ASI)
Please contact the Libraries’ Communications Manager and Lead Designer for updates to building and elevator directories.
Restroom ID with Room Number
Sign Type C1.a & Sign Type C1.c (ASI)
All restrooms in the University Libraries should have the university approved signage.
Please contact the Libraries’ Facilities Planning and Management Officer for all restroom signage.
Hanging Signs
Directional - Overhead Suspended (ASI)
Signs are available in gray and blue.
Please contact the the Libraries’ Facilities Planning and Management Officer or the Libraries’ Communications and Lead Designer for all overhead directional signs.
