Wayfinding

Wayfinding includes anything that helps guide people through the built environment, such as identity, directional signage and campus maps.

Library wayfinding signage is under the purview of the Libraries’ Facilities Planning and Management Officer and the Libraries’ Communications Manager and Lead Designer.

Room IDs

Sign Type A1.1 (ASI)

All rooms in the University Libraries are required to have a room ID.

Room plates for faculty and staff should have Name and Title ONLY. Please contact the Libraries’ Communications Manager and Lead Designer for your name plate.

Building/Elevator Directories

Sign Type F2 / Sign Type F3 (ASI)

Restroom ID with Room Number

All restrooms in the University Libraries should have the university approved signage.

Hanging Signs
