Medical Almanacs: 1850-circa 1937

The collection consists of over 50 almanacs from various years between 1850  to circa 1937  with the majority between 1850 and 1899. The almanacs contain writings on health related topics such as common ailments and advertisements for medication. The collection includes almanacs by the Peruna Drug MFG Company, Ayer’s American Almanac, and Jayne’s Medical Almanac. Donated to the History of Medicine Collection by the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society.
