The Center serves as a hub for helping students explore scientific and technical topics, ranging from NASA’s microgravity experiments in space to the mathematical modeling of plant growth. Our knowledgeable librarians support you in finding and assessing scientific data, technical resources, and specialized literature, including patents and standards.
Circulating books are all located on the 3rd floor and are arranged by Library of Congress Classification System. They may be borrowed by UB students, faculty, staff, and by those with other borrowing privileges by taking the books to the 2nd floor circulation desk or using Delivery+.
All print and electronic material owned by the UB Libraries regardless of format, location, or genre can be searched in our Library Catalog.
The print reference collection on the 1st floor does not circulate.
Our information center now receives most of its journals in electronic format only and maintains an easily searchable database of e-journals. Articles not found in this database can be ordered at no cost to UB patrons using our Delivery+ document delivery service.
